Sep 8, 2011 - "Year of the Quilt" - Introduction of committees and activities and a social to kickoff our "Year of the Quilt".

Oct 13, 2011 - "Focus on Scrap Quilts" - To participate, please bring two 10-1/2" squares of fabric and any scrap quilt in your possession.

Nov 10, 2011 - "Focus on Quilts for a Cause" - A summary of all the service and charity projects the guild has undertaken in the past 10 years.

Dec 8, 2011 - "Focus on Quilters and Food" - Holiday potluck - Bring a dish to share.

Jan 12, 2012 - The "A" Word - All About Appliqué with members Kris Fout, Wendy Bynner, and Madeline Hansen demonstrating various techniques and tools used with appliqué.

Feb 9, 2012 - "Focus on Redwork" - Mary Zesiger, National Quilting Association Certified Teacher and former member of QQ affectionately known as Mary Z, with "No Knots, No Tails", and "Redwork, Bluework and Greenwork, Oh My" with QQ member Beth Schillig, on how to select designs to fit the space when machine quilting.

Committees

Please consider helping in the following areas:

Banquet Organizers - Assist with planning the holiday dinner and the year-end appreciation dinner.
Group Quilt - Coordinate the production of the guild's opportunity quilt.
Historian - Keep a historical record of guild activities.
Hospitality - Greet members and guests at meetings, assist with registration, and welcome new members.
Library - Organize and oversee the guild's extensive library.
Quilt Challenges - Coordinate the guild's challenges, including quilts, blocks, or round robin.
Quilt Show - Plan and coordinate the guild's quilt show.
Service Projects - Coordinate guild service projects, including Choices.
Sunshine Corner - Send get well cards and notes of encouragement to members and guests.
Workshop- Organize and promote quilting education through workshops and lectures
Retreat - Organize and oversee the annual retreat.
